GRAPE: Gaglioppo 80% - Merlot 10% - Magliocco 10%.
VINIFICATION: it's traditional with longh-lasting soaking and following refining in French kegs(barriques)for 3/4 months.
COLOUR: ruby red.
BOUQUET: intense and lasting, fine, wide, spiced, ethereal.
TASTE: dry, warm, tannic, tasty and lasting.
TO BE SERVED WITH: beef, pork and game, well-matured and hot cheese, especially goat's and sheep's milk cheese, particulary elaborate white meat dishes.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18º-20ºC.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13,5% Vol.
